The Mid-Penn boys and girls basketball all-star teams were released on Friday afternoon, and plenty of area players were represented on the teams.

Earning first-team Mid-Penn honors on the boys side were South Williamsport’s Radley Knapp, Muncy’s Stiles Eyer, Montgomery’s Parker Bennett and Bucktail’s Brody Pentz.

Montgomery’s Hayden Wilt, Muncy’s Dominic Guardini, South Williamsport’s Levi Butler and Sullivan County’s Tucker Blasi and Lucas King were all second-team all-star selections.

Northwest’s Josh Miner was named Mid-Penn MVP and Northwest’s Brady Shea was Mid-Penn Defensive Player fo the Year.

Muncy had a pair of first-team Mid-Penn girls basketball all-stars in Ava Eyer and Addison Eyer. South Williamsport’s Abby Akers was named a first-team selection, as was Neumann standout Niyah Tutler.

On the second team, Muncy’s Rosie Zalonis, Bucktail’s Kendall Wagner and South Williamsport’s Ella Moore all earned honors.

Millville’s Larissa Evans was named MVP and Ava Ruckle of Northwest was named the Mid-Penn Defensive Player of the Year.
