Loyalsock Township man allegedly threatened to shoot his mother

Believing his mother was “sending people to follow him,” David A. Crouse Jr., texted her a message that read “I’m going to (expletive) shoot you,” on Dec. 12, according to an affidavit that was filed after state trooper’s were dispatched to the family’s Loyalsock Township home 4021 Bloomingrove Road.
In the same document, police alleged Crouse pointed a gun at his father’s head. When taken into custody without incident a short time later in the 6400 block of Lycoming Creek Road in Hepburn Township, Crouse, who turns 42 on Wednesday, was armed with a loaded handgun, investigators said.
Arraigned before Frey on charges of terroristic threats and simple assault, Crouse remains jailed in lieu of $15,000 bail.
