Announcement has been made of the engagement of Haylie C. McQuillen, of Morgantown, West Virginia, to Dr. Andrew A. Castagna DO, of Morgantown, West Virginia.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Brian L. and Susan R. McQuillen, of Montoursville. Dr. Castagna is the son of Louis V. III and Susan E. Castagna, of Lancaster.

Miss McQuillen graduated from Montoursville Area High School in 2015. Haylie received her bachelor’s degree in early childhood education in 2018 from Millersville University and then received her master’s degree in language and literacy education from Millersville University in 2022. Haylie is a first grade teacher in the Monongalia County School District in Morgantown.

Dr. Castagna graduated from Manheim Township Area High School in 2012. Andrew received his bachelor’s degree in neuroscience from Temple University in 2016 and his doctor of osteopathic medicine DO from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2023. Andrew is a firstiyear radiology resident at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

A July 2025 wedding is planned in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lancaster.
