On Friday, August 26, at 3:30 p.m. at Hyner Run State Park, join the naturalist to Hike the Nature Trail. There will be a discussion about the flora and fauna seen along the trail as well as the history of the area. There will also be a look into trail information and etiquette.

All children must be accompanied by an adult in order to participate.

On Friday, August 26, at 3:30 p.m. at Hyner View State Park, join the naturalist and go on a “Night Sky Tour with Binoculars.”  Participants will be learning how to use a star map, finding visible constellations and sharing some folklore and mythology about them. Although there will be some binoculars to lend out, please bring binoculars to enhance the view of some of the different constellations and stars.

On Saturday, August 27, at 3:30 p.m. at Little Pine State Park, there will be a “BYO Kayak” program. During this program there will be a brief introduction to kayaking as well as a tour of Little Pine Reservoir. 

On Saturday, August 27, at 8:30 p.m., people can join the naturalist and go on a “Night Sky Tour with Binoculars.”  Participants will be learning how to use a star map, finding visible constellations and sharing some folklore and mythology about them.
