Lonnie Schultz, Sr

Lonnie Schultz Sr., 73, of Unityville, died Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at The Gatehouse at Divine Providence. His wife of 51 years, Susan L. (Stroble) Schultz preceded him in death on May 8, 2022.

Born December 18, 1951, in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Ralph and Joyce (Hubard) Schultz. Lonnie was employed as a construction worker for over 20 years with several local companies including Schnadig Corporation and Glenn O. Hawbaker Company. He enjoyed roller skating and the outdoors, especially fishing.

Surviving is a daughter, Rebecca Bower, of Muncy; two granddaughters, Alexis Foster, of Muncy, and Brittni (Lou) Price, of Milton; two grandsons, Wayde Schultz, of McBee, SC, and Cody Schultz, of Greenville, SC; and numerous great-grandchildren; three sisters, Kathy (Ronald) Confer, of Unityville, Monnie Wilson, of San Antonio, Texas, and Susie (Steve) DeWald, of Turbotville; and a brother, Laverne Schultz, of Montoursville.

In addition to his parents and wife, Lonnie was preceded in death by a son, Lonnie Schultz, Jr.

In keeping with Lonnie’s wishes, services will be private at the convenience of the family.
