Driver flees vehicle fire in Clarkstown

CLARKSTOWN-Firefighters extinguish a pickup truck that caught on fire in Second Avenue in Muncy Creek Township on Saturday night about 6:45 p.m.
Muncy Area Fire Chief Scott Delany said when firefighters arrived, the truck, sitting in the middle of the street, was engulfed in flames, and the driver was no where to be found.
It took only five to 10 minutes for firefighters to put the fire out, he said. Besides Muncy Area, firefighters from Hughesville also assisted at scene. State police are investigating.
