New charges lodged against Park Avenue woman
Jocelyn Gardner-Fox, 37, of 816 Park Ave., faces two sets of charges, including felony counts of intimidation of a witness and illegal use of a communication device for allegedly posting on social media on Nov. 30 a private text message between a woman and her attorney in which the woman said “I have people threatening to kill me,” according to an affidavit filed by the county’s Narcotics Enforcement Unit. Gardner-Fox went on to say online that the woman “informed law enforcement on her,” the court document stated. Gardner-Fox confronted the same woman on Isabella Street and accused her of being an informant, investigators alleged. Following her arraignment before District Judge Aaron Biichle, Gardner-Fox, but has since been released on $15,000 bail.
In a second case, Gardner-Fox was charged by city police with two counts of possession of a controlled substance (fentanyl and cocaine) and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia following an incident in the 2700 block of West Fourth Street back on last Feb. 24. She is released on $5,000 bail on these charges. She has since waived her preliminary hearings in both cases. She was arrested and jailed last years on felony drug charges after county detectives seized 38 grams of fentanyl while executing a search warrant at her home on Oct 9.
