The Lycoming College Art Gallery’s first show of the year will pay tribute to retiring President Kent Trachte and his wife, Sharon Trachte, with a special art exhibition featuring works from alumni who have been inspired and supported by the Trachtes’ vision and leadership during their tenure at Lycoming.

The show will run Feb. 14-March 21, with an artist talk slated for at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 21.

Alumni artists whose work will be displayed at the gallery include Sifa Blackmon, Rene Gortat, Brooke Long, Bill Mauro, Brian McGinniss, Christina Moliterno, Joe Troxler and Josh Troxler.

The Lycoming College Art Gallery, located in downtown Williamsport at 25 W. Fourth St., contributes to the city’s arts culture and enables the College to become more involved with the surrounding community. Lycoming art students have the opportunity to interact with visiting artists and learn first-hand the inner workings of an art gallery.
