Jon Mackey (or his associate), who regularly poses questions to patrons of local eateries, will challenge the trivia knowledge of those who attend Quizzo at the Taber at 6 p.m., Feb. 8. The questions will be drawn from a broad range of categories including geography, sports, movies and music.

There is a fee to participate and teams of up to six people may compete. Prizes will be awarded to the top scoring teams, a news release said.

“On that evening, there will be a chance to win a 50/50 drawing,” the news release said. “Beer — generously donated by New Trail Brewing — and wine will be available. Water, soda and other refreshments will be offered throughout the night. Quizzo at the Taber is a fundraiser for the Lycoming County Historical Society, so grab a team of friends and come out for a fun-filled night.”

As this is a popular event and space is limited, reservations are strongly urged. With the doors opening at 6 p., participants will have time to stroll through the museum before the game officially starts at 7 p.m.
