Scott C. Woolever

Scott C. Woolever, 70, of Montoursville, died Thursday, Feb. 6, 2025, at his home. Born December 16, 1954 in Montoursville, he was the son of Earl Coleman Woolever and Hazel M. (Crider) Woolever.

Scott was an owner of Woolever Brothers Transportation for 52 years, retiring in February 2024.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, relaxing at the cabin, antique tractors, cars, trucks, finding bargains at yard sales, tractor pulling, spending time with family and friends and attending Colton (great-nephew) and Kinley’s (great-niece) sporting events.

Scott also loved making the trip to Selinsgrove to spend time with his long term companion, Alice Erb. He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church of Montoursville.

Scott is survived by brother, Arthur R. (Karen) Woolever, of Montoursville; nephews, Tyler A. (Tiffini) Woolever, Caleb J. (Liz) Woolever, both of Montoursville.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Coleman Woolever and Hazel M. Woolever.

Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, February 13, 2025, at McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 733 Broad Street Montoursville, with Larry Leland officiating. Burial will follow at Montoursville Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
